IE TRAILERS LIMITED WARRANTY

IE Trailers stands behind the trailers we manufacture. Warranty coverage is subject to the terms, limitations, exclusions, and inspection requirements listed on this page. Warranty coverage cannot be determined by phone, email, text message, social media, or photographs alone. The trailer must be brought to IE Trailers for inspection before a warranty determination can be made.

WARRANTY INSPECTION & SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

Warranty coverage cannot be determined until the trailer has been physically inspected by IE Trailers.

  • Outside Repairs: Do not have warranty-related repairs performed by another shop, business, or individual without prior written approval from IE Trailers.

  • Inspection Location: The trailer must be brought to the IE Trailers facility in Bloomington, California for inspection.

  • Trailer Must Be Empty: Unless otherwise approved, the trailer must arrive empty of vehicles, cargo, tools, equipment, and personal property.

  • Warranty Determination: Bringing the trailer in for inspection does not automatically mean the condition is covered under warranty. IE Trailers will determine coverage after inspection.

  • Customer Property: IE Trailers is not responsible for personal property, tools, equipment, vehicles, or other items left in or on the trailer.

  • Official Communication: Warranty-related communication must be made through IE Trailers’ official business phone, business email, or Warranty Inspection Request form.

  • Transportation Responsibility: The customer is responsible for transporting the trailer to and from IE Trailers. Transportation, towing, fuel, and travel costs are not reimbursed unless specifically agreed to in writing.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

IE Trailers limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Overloading or exceeding the trailer’s rated capacity

  • Accidents, collisions, curb strikes, impact damage, or road hazards

  • Improper towing, loading, securing, or use

  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance

  • Corrosion, rust, weather exposure, or environmental damage

  • Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs

  • Repairs performed by another shop or individual without prior written approval from IE Trailers

  • Damage caused by aftermarket equipment or accessories not installed or approved by IE Trailers

  • Damage resulting from continued use after a known problem develops

  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, fading, chips, or normal appearance changes unless caused by a warrantable manufacturing defect

Warranty coverage is determined only after inspection by IE Trailers and based on the specific condition of the trailer and the applicable warranty terms.

REQUEST A WARRANTY INSPECTION

If you believe your trailer may have a warranty-related issue, submit a Warranty Inspection Request below. Submitting a request does not confirm warranty coverage. The trailer must be brought to IE Trailers for physical inspection before a warranty determination can be made.
